Enjoy tasty oysters in Okayama!

Oysters raised in the nutrient-rich Setonaikai (Inland Sea) feature tasty white meat and a wonderfully fresh texture. 

The best season for this tasty treat is between November and March. 

A very popular local favorite in the Hinase area of Bizen is kakioko, savory Japanese oyster pancakes, and Asakuchi City offers visitors the delicious taste of grilled oysters freshly harvested from the waters off Yorishima.
