WHALE WATCHING IN THE WHITSUNDAYS

Visitors to the Whitsundays can get up close with humpback whales from late June through to September.

The whales, head north to give birth in the warm tropical waters and sighting these majestic mammals and their calves is a memorable, awe-inspiring experience and one that people talk about for many years afterwards.

Many passengers on sailing vessels and day trips have this unexpected delight while out on the water.
