On my recent visit to bustling Bangkok, I made a visit to the 5-star Infinity Spa for a Body Scrub followed by an Infinity Aroma massage. The Infinity Spa is a contemporary urban day spa that offers a wide range of body relaxing massages, facial rejuvenations and beauty treatments. I walked to the Infinity Spa from my hotel, but others can take the SkyTrain to the nearby Surasak BTS station.

From the moment I stepped in, smiles and bows by the staff made me feel very welcomed.

I was immediately impressed by the bright modern decor of the Infinity Spa with its beautiful white and aqua blue interior. The colours used, stylistic furniture, and their uniforms all blended in perfect harmony.

I was warmly greeted by the friendly reception staff who smiled and bowed. They offered a moist aromatic towel and refreshing herbal drink which was a natural blend of green tea, fresh lime and blue butterfly flower sweetened with organic honey. The various Spa Treatment packages were explained to me by a helpful staff member who told me about the different types of massages and oils they offer.

The Infinity Spa uses high-quality natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant for their Aromatherapy Treatments. The three home-made oils on offer were LAVENDER & CHAMOMILE (to promote relaxation), LEMONGRASS & PINK GRAPEFRUIT (to help with detoxing), and GERANIUM & CITRUS FRUIT (to help energise). They all smelt wonderful.

I filled out a form that asked details of my massage preference. I chose the 30-minute Natural Body Scrub followed by the 90-minute Signature Infinity Aroma massage with Herbal Compress.

My Massage Therapist, who spoke good English, then escorted me up the stairs to the next level. Here he gently washed my feet in a refreshing foot bath.

I was then taken up to my individual treatment room on the top floor, which felt very serene and private. It was restful and spotlessly clean. I changed out of my clothes into the special underwear that was provided then lay on the comfortable massage bed. Everything looked, smelt, and felt clean. The gentle music and aromas of essential oils in the air were soothing.

The 30-minute Natural Body Scrub was a wonderful experience. I chose the Seaword Scrub, but the other choices on offer would have been just as good. 

After a shower, which was in my treatment room, I then enjoyed my 90-minute Signature Infinity Aroma massage with Herbal Compress. This was the perfect combination of Thai massage and aromatherapy. My Massage Therapist was wonderful and asked me several times if his hand movements, firmness and pressure being applied were comfortable for me.

In what seemed like no time at all I had all of my body from head to toe massaged with my choice of LAVENDER & CHAMOMILE oil. This relaxing blend left my skin feeling soft, smooth and relaxed. The massage ended with an application of a herbal ball heat compression.

I then went downstairs to the ground floor reception area where a herbal tea drink, a mango and sticky rice snack and another aromatic towel to refresh myself were waiting for me. I filled out the evaluation questionnaire, where I indicated all my very positive responses.

My Natural Body Scrub and Signature Infinity Aroma massage were absolutely amazing. I felt very relaxed and energised after my 5-star spa experience at Infinity Spa. I left feeling the release of all the muscular tension I had accumulated throughout the past weeks. The highly trained staff were all very friendly and professional. They know what customer service is all about. I must go back there next time I am in Bangkok and try one of the other treatment packages they offer.
