BEST FAMILY TRAVEL IDEAS IN HONG KONG

Noah’s Ark
Hong Kong is an exciting city getaway with a wide range of amusement parks, themed attractions, cultural sites and natural landscapes. All here for your family to learn, relax and have fun.

Here’s our pick of exciting activities in Hong Kong for all the family to enjoy:

Disneyland: Hong Kong Disneyland is presenting a series of spectacular events including ‘Star Wars™: Tomorrowland Takeover’ that cannot be missed.

Ocean Park: Thrill rides, giant pandas and a world-class aquarium to spend the day. You can also travel back in time, back to Hong Kong in the 1950-1970’s, with old streets, scenes and the Heritage Tram.

Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens: One of the oldest zoological and botanical centres in the world. There are more than 1,000 species of plants in the gardens, as well as over 600 birds, 70 mammals and 40 reptiles, including many different species. It also has a playground on several levels: slides, swings and sandpits, for the little ones to run around.

Star Ferry: A Hong Kong icon and a lifetime experience for travellers. Take the ride for an up-close look at one of the world’s most photographed harbours, while locals have kept their affection for it because, even after a century, it’s still a highly reliable and efficient form of transport.

Peak Tram: Riding the Peak Tram is a visual experience in its own right — Hong Kong Island’s skyscrapers slide past your window at what appear to be impossible angles as you make the ascent to The Peak on the city’s historic, funicular railway.

Trick Eye Museum Hong Kong: Fun for the whole family, the Trick Eye Museum offers a magnificent collection of 3D artwork, featuring paintings on plain surfaces that, by way of optical illusion, appear to be three dimensional.

Wetland Park: A world-class ecotourism attraction and a bird watching paradise with over 240 bird species and other amazing wetland creatures. The park features an interactive centre, housing themed exhibition galleries, 3D cinema and trick art, a theatre and the Swamp Adventure indoor play area.

Noah’s Ark: It is the world’s only full-size replica, which is on the waterfront overlooking the Rambler Channel and Tsing Ma Bridge. The attraction also has activities and exhibits that explore the unique history and culture of Ma Wan, making it a great destination for families.

Jumbo Kingdom: Designed like a Chinese palace, this multi-faceted complex is one of the world’s largest floating restaurants, which includes a tea garden and a gourmet restaurant serving high-quality traditional Chinese and modern fusion dishes.
