WHITSUNDAYS BOASTS TWO OF THE TOP NINE BATHTUBS WITH RIDICULOUS VIEWS

The Whitsundays is home to two of the top nine Queensland bathtubs with postcard-perfect views, according to Tourism and Events Queensland.

The official travel blog of Queensland, Hello Sunshine, listed Hamilton Island’s qualia as number two on the ‘9 bathtubs with ridiculous views’ list, with Paradise Cove Resort

(accessible only via Red Cat Adventure’s Ride to Paradise package) coming in at number 7.

The blog states that a stay in one of qualia’s Windward Pavilions is ‘worth it alone for the uninterrupted views of the Whitsunday Islands and Coral Sea’, while the outdoor bathtubs at Paradise Cove Resort ‘have a very jungle-like feel; open and airy, and surrounded by beautiful greenery’.

Tourism Whitsundays CEO, Craig Turner, said it was pleasing, but not at all surprising, to see that two Whitsunday products made it to the ‘9 bathtubs with ridiculous views’ list.

“The Whitsundays is well recognised for offering holiday-goers memorable experiences that take in the natural beauty of our beaches, 74 islands, reef, and rainforests.

“Hamilton Island’s qualia and Whitsunday Coast’s Paradise Cove Resort have truly capitalised on their surroundings, so it’s great to see them rewarded for their unique products,” Mr Turner said.

At the heart of the Great Barrier Reef on Queensland’s coast, the Whitsundays is made up of 74 island wonders in the warm waters of the Coral Sea.

The Whitsundays is the perfect place to swim and snorkel, or charter a boat and cruise the islands, and to witness the diversity of marine life including turtles, dolphins countless species of fish and whales.
