CHANNEL NINE’S TODAY SHOW TO BROADCAST LIVE FROM THREDBO

Australia’s ultimate, year-round nature and adventure playground, the NSW Snowy Mountains, will host Channel Nine’s Today Show when they broadcast live from Thredbo’s ‘Friday Flat’ on 25 July.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mt Kosciuszko, the Snowy Mountains is renowned for outstanding alpine resorts, glorious scenic walks and adrenalin-pumping experiences, including mountain biking, skiing, tobogganing and snowboarding.

The region’s diversity will be profiled across the three-and-half-hour show by Today Show hosts Karl Stefanovic and Sylvia Jeffreys, together with Richard Wilkins, Tim Gilbert, Natalia Cooper and Ross Greenwood.

NSW Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events Stuart Ayres said the broadcast was secured by the NSW Government’s tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW, to showcase the NSW Snowy Mountains as a must-visit destination.

“The Snowies delivers après-ski at its best, from cosy wine bars and fine dining to events for the whole family, and I encourage all Australians to tune in to Channel Nine on Monday morning from 5:30am to discover this spectacular and exciting part of NSW,” Mr Ayres said.
