Hampton by Hilton Expands in China

Hilton Worldwide recently announced a milestone in its major planned expansion throughout China with the opening of Hampton by Hilton Guangzhou Zhejiang New Town, its first Hampton hotel in a major Chinese city. 

The 223-room hotel joins the Hampton portfolio of more than 2,100 hotels around the world. Hampton by Hilton Guangzhou Zhejiang New Town is located in the Tianhe District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. 

Hilton signed a master development agreement with Plateno Hotels Group for the midscale Hampton brand in China in late 2014. 

Its first Chinese property opened in Sanya in December 2015. Together, the two companies expect to launch more than 400 Hampton hotels in China.
