Geneva International Motor Show!

The Geneva Motor Show is one of the most important automotive events in the world.

It is held annually in the Palexpo Show Grounds right next to Geneva Airport (GVA) on the Swiss-French border.

Between 650,000 and 700,000 visitors are attending during the eleven days of the event, which makes the Motor Show the most important exhibition in Switzerland.“The 86th Geneva International Motor Show: A magnificent showroom for the automobile industry.”

All of the key players from the global automobile industry have gathered at the 86th Geneva International Motor Show from March 3-13, 2016. This includes all the major manufacturers, plus the top automotive designers and preparation specialists, who were presenting more than 120 World and European Premiers.

87th Edition – 09 to 19 March 2017

The Geneva Motor Show is hugely popular with the Swiss and international public. The show can get very full especially over weekends making it sensible to arrive early in the morning or late afternoon. The new half-price ticket for entry after 4 pm may help to reduce crowds earlier in the day.

Wednesdays, when most Geneva schools are out and many others are free in the afternoon, can also get very busy.

It is possible – and sensible – to book hotels & buy tickets to the Geneva Motor Show in advance.

The 87th edition will take place from 9 to 19 March 2017, Press days 7 & 8 March 2017.
