Cooke Park Main Stage opens on Thursday evening with the free Cinema Under the Stars screening of the 2016 Festival theme movie, 'Fun In Acapulco'. There will be great pre-film entertainment for the whole family, including the Three Amigos Plus One comic mariachi band as well as Elvis tribute artists. Cinema Under the Stars is proudly sponsored by WIN Television.

The festivities kick off on Friday, with all-day Elvis entertainment followed by a free outdoor Concert in the Park starring the Midnight Drifters from 7pm.

Saturday is competition day at Cooke Park Main Stage. Following the 2016 Official Opening Ceremony at 11.30am, it's time for the Junior and Senior Elvis and Priscilla Look-a-Like competitions. At 3.30pm the groovers and shakers will battle it out for the trophies in the McDonald’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Dancing Competition before the second free outdoor Concert in the Park, the spectacular tribute show Trilogy: Three Decades of Elvis, at 7pm.

On Sunday morning, the Elvis Gospel Service finds a new home at the Cooke Park Main Stage from 9am. This special interdenominational service celebrates The King’s first love, gospel music, through song and prayer. Stay seated following the Service for the ever-popular Renewal of Vows Ceremony at 11.30am, where couples renew their vows under the ‘Love Me Tender’ arch before an Elvis celebrant.
