Xiamen Building a Beach

Construction will be starting soon on an artificial beach nearly 1.5 miles long in the Guanyinshan-Wutong section of Huandao Road in Xiamen. 

Upon completion, the beach will be equipped with a wooden trestle, a walking path, sightseeing locations, and 1.5 acres of green landscape.

To date, Xiamen has built nearly 250 acres of artificial beaches, which have improved the local ecological environment and coastal landscape.
