More flights into Sunshine Coast
After more than a decade, Qantas will recommence regular air services from Sydney into Sunshine Coast Airport six days a week from December 2015. The 110 seat Boeing 717 will operate from 21 December to meet Christmas and school holiday demand, then a regular business flight schedule will commence on 8 February, with flights departing Sunshine Coast for Sydney at 6:40am (arriving 9:15am) and departing Sydney at5:40pm, arriving on the Sunshine Coast at 6:15pm.Also, Air NZ has announced that they will be operating direct flights between Auckland and the Sunshine Coast over the summer, from 13 December to 28 February 2016.
