North Star Announces New Itinerary

If you have always wanted to catch a barramundi - then this is very likely the news that you have been waiting for!

Revered adventure-cruiser North Star Cruises has released its first itinerary with this worthy ambition in mind.

The Kimberely Barra Bonanaza is based on the company's mega-successful Kimberley Wilderness Cruise and the variation of theme simply means more time for fishing!

The new itinerary also includes destinations that are not normally included in the company's other Kimberley itineraries.

North Star general manager, Peter Trembath, predicts that visits to the adventure-packed Walcott Inlet will be a cruise highlight. “Opportunity to 'ride the tide' through the spectacular Charnley Gorge, to where the salt meets the fresh – is one of the Kimberley's most hand-picked experiences - this is especially so when you then get a chance to sight-cast ravenous barra as they wait for the tide to spill into their billabong.”

The Kimberley Barra Bonanza sails on the 5th of September 2015 when the weather is perfect for both fishing and sightseeing – cabins are expected to sell quickly.
