China’s Government Committing to Better Tourism Development

The State Council of China met this week and re-committed to reforms that will help in continuing to develop the destination’s tourism industry.

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang presided over the executive meeting, which agreed upon further road and regional airport construction, better parking and bathrooms at tourist sites, and strategic planning and development for rural areas (especially in the central and western China).

A wider range of tourist markets will be targeted, including active adults, and new technology will be utilized for vacation and transport rentals and booking.

China’s government will also invest in these projects, as well as entertain public-private-partnerships
