SYDNEY STARS TO THE MAX

Mad Max vehicles took over the Cahill Expressway and the Sydney Opera House for a promotional video shoot ahead of the world premiere of Fury Road last week.

Meanwhile, Sydney’s reputation as Australia’s number one movie-making destination has been strengthened with the movie being filmed at two Western Sydney locations and a Sydney-based company handling post production.

Deputy Premier and Minister for the Arts Troy Grant said, “Potts Hill near Bankstown and Penrith Lakes have both hosted filming of this world famous franchise and these locations will be beamed across screens world-wide, boosting our reputation as Australia's number one movie-making destination.”

"Fury Road has already generated $80 million in economic investment and hundreds of jobs for NSW, showing NSW is truly open for the film-making business,’’ Mr Grant said.
