Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board Introduces New Official Visitor's Guide

Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board (L.A. Tourism) introduces a new official Los Angeles Visitor's Guide to help visitors create a memorable and unique L.A. story experience.

The complimentary guide features insider advice – from L.A.'s iconic must-sees to lesser known hidden gems – and is designed to become a visitor's go-to traveling companion. The guide caters to a diverse range of visitor personalities while spanning the gamut of things to do in the City – from activities, arts & culture and dining to nightlife, shopping and accommodations.

The new Los Angeles Visitor's Guide includes:
  • A deeper look at L.A.'s regions – Beach Cities, Hollywood, Downtown, Westside and the Valley – and distinct neighborhoods to help navigating through the City
  • Custom L.A. itineraries to fit various preferences and styles including culture, star-spotting, romance, luxury, outdoor, family-friendly and nightlife
  • Cultural hidden gems and shopping hotspots
  • A sampling of L.A.'s top restaurants as chosen by Los Angeles magazine
  • How to get around L.A. with ease on Metro
  • Insider tips on planning a trip and what to expect during your visit
  • A comprehensive directory of what to do, where to stay and where to eat

This year's visitor's guide also features a dedicated insert on the 2015 Special Olympics World Games 2015, taking center stage in Los Angeles July 25-August 2. The insert highlights the history of the world's largest sports and humanitarian event, offers ways to become involved and lists the 25 sporting events, which are open to the public.
