KEEP THE KIDS ENTERTAINED THIS EASTER

Sydney Olympic Park is the place to be for parents looking to keep the kids entertained and active these school holidays without stretching the wallet, thanks to Kids in the Park (KITP) activities. KITP has a total of 54 activities, including 11 free activities and eight good-value options at less than $20 per person, on every day of the holidays from 3-19 April 2015.

Whether kids are interested in adventurous and sporty activities or prefer creative and nature-loving pursuits, they will find loads of entertainment at Sydney Olympic Park.

Sporty kids will be spoilt with choice from more than 20 energy-burning activities to keep them busy throughout the school break, including an AC Milan Junior Soccer Camp at the Athletic Centre, for boys and girls to learn their soccer skills from former professional AC Milan Player, Andrea Icardiu.

Emerging Einsteins will also be blown-away this April by the five Fizzics Education science workshops at the Education Centre at Bicentennial Park. On 15, 23 and 24 April, Fizzics Education – Lego Robotics will expose the inner-workings of robots using NXT Lego Mindstorms robots and other cool technologies. On Monday 13 April, science-lovers will be thrilled with a choice of three workshops –Gross and Gory Science, Exploring Science and a Liquid Nitrogen Show. Extreme Engineering will test problem solving skills, scientific theories and building rockets on 17 April.

From science to the arts, creative kids can wile away the hours with free daily-entry to Artexpress at the Armory 2015 and free art workshops at the Armory Gallery on 7 and 14 April. Kids can also express themselves in one of seven The Writing Workshop activities including the Writing Workshop – Stories of the Future on 18 April, where writers will invent the technology (or other magical means) to travel in time and report using fiction and non-fiction forms of writing.

Sydney Olympic Park’s super-cool April school holiday program also has an Urban Jungle Adventure Park, Flying Trapeze, Clue Trails and virtually every sport under the sun.
