Awaken the Docklands Dragon in Melbourne

Visit Docklands during Melbourne’s Chinese New Year celebrations between 19 February and 1 March and see the spectacular 100-metre-long illuminated Docklands Dragon.

Join in the major celebrations on Thursday 19 February with the awakening of the Docklands Dragon, floating lanterns, dragon boats, drummers, tai chi and dance troupe demonstrations, fire twirlers and lion dances.

Located at Harbour Esplanade in Docklands, visitors can catch the free City Circle tram to see the Dragon.
