2015 SYDNEY CHINESE NEW YEAR FESTIVAL

Celebrate the Year of the Sheep with the Chinese New Year Festival.

As one of the largest Chinese New Year Festivals outside of China, Sydney-siders & visitors are invited to share in a month-long program of free and ticketed events, starting with the free Festival Launch at Dawes Point.

The signature event, the Twilight Parade illuminates the City’s streets as a procession of colourful floats, community groups and programmed entertainment weaves its way past excited onlookers.

Everyone has the chance to enjoy delicious food from restaurants across Sydney with the return of Lunar Feasts set price meals. And don’t miss the thrill of the Dragon Boat race competition as teams of 20 paddlers battle it out on the waters at Cockle Bay.
