The World's Best Jobs - Meet Anantara Kihavah's Resident Marine Biologist Joseph Lassus‏

Joseph Lassus
Not only does Anantara have some of the best resorts in the most unique locations in the world, but with that comes one of the more interesting jobs on offer. Over the next few months we will be showcasing and introducing you to our unique ‘Anantara’s Experts’, who have, what others may consider, as the best job in the world.

For anyone who has snorkelled or scuba dived in the Maldives, the natural wonders of the world’s most famous underwater playground will undoubtedly have left a bank of unforgettably colourful memories. So imagine if that underwater kaleidoscopic was not part of a holiday, but your own office - this is the case for Anantara Kihavah’s resident marine biologist, Joseph Lassus.

Joseph spends as much time as possible talking about the marine environment with guests, with the aim of enriching their experience and instilling a sense of responsibility to be careful whilst enjoying the wonders of the ocean. Each day Joseph can be found talking about the marine life of the Maldives which is a great way to spread the word about the importance of coral reefs, as without them the Maldives simply wouldn’t exist.

We think that Joseph’s job is one of the best in the world and a perfect candidate for our first ‘Anantara Expert’ of 2014.
