Legendary Specialists Launch a New Whale Trail on the NSW / Queensland Border

The Legendary Pacific Coast has recruited the expertise of tourism and cruise specialists from the Central Coast to the Tweed to compile a comprehensive new Whale Trail launched in Destination Tweed.

The Legendary Pacific Coast (North Coast Destination Network) Executive Officer, Ms Belinda Novicky, officially launched The Whale Trail on the border of NSW and Queensland at Point Dangar Park, Coolangatta, a popular whale watching location.

The Legendary Pacific Coast Whale Trail plots 50 whale watching highlights on land and sea, details each location and tour operator and provides contact details to learn more by phone, email or web.

The Legendary Pacific Coast is also partnering with the National Parks and Wildlife, “Wild About Whales” campaign and TLPC and its participating destinations will feature in the NPWS campaign to be launched later this month.

The Legendary Pacific Coast is Australia's top tourism drive across 930kms from the Central Coast to the Tweed. “This whale trail is yet another great opportunity to highlight our partners and the key role they each play in marketing the route domestically and internationally,” Ms Novicky said.

“The Legendary Pacific Coast is the only tourism marketing program supported by Destination NSW and Tourism Australia to market our total region locally and abroad working in collaboration with Local Government and our tourism industry partners”.
