MSC CRUISES CONSOLIDATES LEADERSHIP IN THE MEDITERRANEAN WITH MSC DIVINA IN SUMMER 2015

MSC Divina
MSC Cruises has re-affirmed its Mediterranean heritage by consolidating and strengthening its leadership in the Mediterranean through one of its flagships for the northern summer of 2015.

Beginning of May 2015, MSC Divina will be deployed in the Western Mediterranean for twenty 7-night/8-day cruises after a successful program in the Caribbean.

By calling at gateways “to inspiring and striking destinations” MSC Divina will become the perfect choice for passengers wishing to explore the beauties of Europe and the #MedWayOfLife.

Thanks to the mix of ports of call, travellers will have the opportunity to visit a variety of destinations such as the Cinque Terre and Portofino, the Balearic Islands, Cannes and Monte Carlo, Naples and its breathtaking coast, without forgetting the legendary Rome and the much sought-after Barcelona.

“MSC Divina will join MSC Preziosa, MSC Fantasia and MSC Armonia in the Western Mediterranean increasing our offer in all the Mediterranean by 20 per cent compared with 2014 for a total amount of 760,000 passengers, of which 75,000 on board MSC Divina,” said Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises. “It is a strong evidence of our leadership in a geographical region where 80 per cent of MSC Cruises’ global offer is deployed.”

MSC Divina will begin her Grand Voyage on April 26, 2015 from Miami making a stop in New York, King's Wharf, Bermuda before heading onto Ponta Delgada, Lisbon, Cadiz, Barcelona, Naples and Civitavecchia. From May 16, 2015 to October 3, 2015 MSC Divina will sail 7-night Mediterranean cruises from Civitavecchia (Rome), visiting La Spezia, Cannes, Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona, Naples and returning to Civitavecchia.

MSC Divina will return to South Florida for a second season of 7-night Caribbean cruises starting in November 2015.
