Home Valley Station re-opens on 1st May for 2014 season‏

On 1st May, Home Valley Station, a unique working cattle station in Western Australia’s East Kimberley, will re-open its doors to guests following its annual hiatus over the wet season. For the 2014 season, two new tours will be introduced to further enhance the guest experience.

A Full Day Horseback Adventure and Boat Fishing & Croc Spotting Safari will be added to the already popular suite of tours and activities on offer at Home Valley Station.

For the more adventurous, the Full Day Horseback Adventure will take guests along trails including savannah plains, rocky ridgelines and pristine river banks - retracing the original stock route of the 1800’s. For those looking to reel in the elusive Barramundi, the new Boat Fishing & Croc Spotting Safari is an intimate guided experience providing everything to increase one’s chances of catching a ‘Big Barra’ and spotting resident saltwater crocs.

Voyages’ Executive General Manager Sales Marketing and Distribution Ray Stone says, “We are excited to be launching the 2014 season with two new tours which will further enhance the guest experience at Home Valley Station. Combined with the Kimberley’s most breathtaking gorges and natural waterholes, there has never been a better time to enjoy the quintessential outback experience.”

Other tours and activities on offer at Home Valley Station include informative guided tours, scenic and fishing helicopter flights, self-paced walking trails and nightly live entertainment at the iconic Dusty Bar & Grill.

With a wide range of accommodation options designed to meet the needs and budgets of travellers, Home Valley Station offers guests the opportunity to experience a working cattle station.
