Central Australia the Outback Paradise

There are times in our lives when we need to take ourselves out of our daily routines to focus on our inner core, reignite our passions and go exploring. The heart of Australia is where people go for the adventure of a lifetime. This vast region is filled with the untouched beauty of ancient mountain ranges, Aboriginal rock art, paintings & culture, unique food dining experiences, lush waterholes, outback ballooning, quirky festivals, mountain biking and many more adventures. In fact, adventure is a part of every day life in the Red Centre.

The heart of Australia encompasses the beautiful and grassy Barkly region, the culturally vibrant and quirky township of Alice Springs, the majestic Kings Canyon, the iconic and breathtaking Uluru and many more extraordinary places in between. Whether it's your first time or you've come back to revisit, we welcome all our visitors to see and experience the magic of Central Australia.

Must do while in the Red Centre

Cycle around the Rock

For the first time ever, visitors can now hire bicycles from Outback Cycling to ride around the 15km base of Uluru, allowing you to get up and close to this amazing monolith. Cycling is a fantastic way to experience one of the most incredible natural wonders of the world.

Alice Springs Desert Park Dingoes

The Alice Springs Desert Park are currently raising two dingos Marle and Digger as part of a program to educate the general public about conservation to native wildlife, the co-existence and cultural significance of dingos to Aboriginal people in Central Australia and helpful information for visitors who may encounter them in their travels in the outback.

Their daily dingo presentations also involve getting up close and personal with Marle and Digger.
