Liaoning Art Troupe coming to Seychelles for the first Seychelles-China Day celebrations

The popular and high-level art fiesta from China is coming to Seychelles by a top Chinese Troupe during the first Seychelles-China Day Celebrations starting the 31st January. As a gift to all in universal pursuit of art and beauty, free tickets for the performance will be available from the front desk of Chinese Embassy at St. Louis for the show at the International Conference Centre (ICCS) of February 2nd.

The Liaoning Art Troupe from China consists of 35 outstanding performers from Liaoning Corps de Ballet, Liaoning Opera House, Liaoning Song and Dance Troupe, Shenyang Acrobatic Troupe, Jinzhou Puppet Troupe. This time, the Troupe will put on a performance with a rich variety from ballets, singing, acrobatics, magic to puppets performance.

Liaoning Corps de Ballet is among the top five such groups in China, who has creatively integrated traditional Chinese art and modern elements in Classical Ballet, and they have won various medals and honors at home and around the World. The Liaoning Corps has been invited to visit France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand and U.S., and they have represented China in the 2013 cultural exchange with Brazil. During their stay in Seychelles, these national top-level dancers will present classical ballet passages like Raymonda, as well as several original modern ballets. Liaoning Opera House, Song&Dance Troupe, Acrobatic Troupe and Jinzhou Puppet Troupe have also been invited to perform abroad for many times, winning great applause from overseas audience.

This year the Troupe hopes to add a plus to the Seychelles-China Day Celebrations, and offer a treat of arts to the Seychellois and visitors in the islands. They have said that they hope to help set a bridge of art to push the already solid Seychelles-China friendship to a new high.
