Head for Coff's Harbour's Coastout 2013

CoastOut 2013 will be held from Friday 25 October to Sunday 27 October. This will be the perfect weekend of sun, sand, surf and fun.

“CoastOut is a great event for Coffs Harbour, last year attracting 1,705 visitors, 1,205 of whom were from out of region, staying on average three nights. The festival contributed an economic impact of $527,790 to our local community,” Member for Coffs Harbour, Andrew Fraser said.

“CoastOut is an arts, sport, and cultural festival, celebrating the diversity of our community. I urge everyone to make a date and head for the Coffs Coast not only to attend the festival, but also to explore our beautiful region.”

Awarded ‘2012 Community Event of The Year’, CoastOut is the Coffs Coast's annual gay, lesbian and friends festival that brings together people from around Australia and beyond.

The festival offers the perfect mix of social events and dance parties over three days and includes the world's only gay surfing competition.

A welcome cocktail party, Party in the Park, Fair Day, and other events like Big Banana Day Out and Barefoot Bowls and Brekkie all combine to make an exciting weekend.

Minister for Major Events and Tourism, George Souris said: “The NSW Government, through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW, is pleased to support regional events such as the CoastOut festival as part of the 2013 Regional Flagship Program.”

Destination NSW CEO Sandra Chipchase said: “Visitors to the CoastOut festival will experience not only the many festival events on offer, but also Coffs Harbour itself with its natural beauty, pristine beaches and majestic mountains.”

“Destination NSW is pleased to support the CoastOut festival, a key regional flagship event.”
