2013 SAVOUR AUSTRALIA RESTAURANT AND CATERING AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE WINNERS ANNOUNCED

The 2013 Savour Australia Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence in Northern NSW were announced recently at a ceremony held at the Novotel Pacific Bay Resort in Coffs Harbour attended by around 500 people.

The awards are specifically designed to objectively recognise and promote industry best practice.

Around 130 restaurateurs and caterers were recognised at the ceremony for their excellence in food and service standards. The major awards announced at the ceremony include the following:

• Esca Bimbadgen in Pokolbin was awarded Tourism Restaurant of the Year

• Byron Beach Café in Byron Bay won the Consumer Vote Award

• Bells at Killcare in Killcare Heights was awarded the Restaurant of the Year.

The awards included entrants from the Central Coast, Hunter, North Coast and New England regions. For a full list of winners and finalists click here
