ILTM Spa: The Focus for an Emerging Industry

In a global market with over 100,000 specialist travel operators and revenues in excess of US$60 billion, ILTM Spa  will take place at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower, London from 30th September – 2nd October 2013, also featuring the Tatler Spa Awards.

The event will provide a focus for business in this fast moving industry, highlighting destination spas, holistic retreats and therapeutic treatments, who will meet with VIP specialist spa buyers from across the world including individual planners of bespoke spa and travel itineraries.

Alison Gilmore, ILTM Exhibition Director commented: “The world health spa market is fast developing and estimated to reach a value of US$77.2 Billion by 2015. ILTM Spa will welcome elite spas and resorts to exclusively meet the invited hosted spa buyers in a series of one-to-one pre-scheduled business appointments, enabling all involved to build their spa business.”

Exhibitors taking part in ILTM Spa 2013 include Thailand’s Chiva Som, The Chateau Spa & Organic Wellness Resort in Malaysia, Rocco Forte’s Verdura Golf and Spa Resort in Italy, The Alpina Gstaad in Switzerland, Portugal’s Longevity Wellness Resort and Four Seasons Maldives.

Following the launch edition of ILTM Spa in 2012, Gabriel D. D. Donida, Executive Director Sales & Marketing, Atelier Voyage, Germany, summed up the buyer experience: “ILTM Spa is a brilliant new endeavour to enable VIP buyers and suppliers to enter directly into the heart of the matter: spa, wellness and all of their intricate facets… An exploration into innovative health programmes – a ‘must’ for anyone keen to gather a wealth of information on the long term benefits found in selected hotels and resorts worldwide.”
