Dusit International GMs "Play to Win"

Over 80 General Managers (GMs) and key executives of Dusit International’s hotels and resorts converged on the brand’s flagship hotel, Dusit Thani Bangkok, to participate in the annual GMs Conference, held 24 & 25 April. The year’s theme was “Play to Win,” a light-hearted take on the company’s approach to what they have termed their “Year of Expansion.”

Currently at 16 international properties, including two serviced apartment complexes in the Middle East, Dusit International expects to more than double its current offering over the next five years.

Earlier in the year, the company announced a 10-property joint venture agreement in China, as well as the signing of hotels in Nairobi, Kenya and Khao Yai, Thailand. The company’s second hotel in the UAE, Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi, is set to open this 1^st May.

Led by Dusit International Managing Director and CEO Mr Chanin Donavanik, COO Mr David Shackleton and Vice Chairman Mr Giovanni Angelini, the conference included presentations from various industry leaders, hands-on workshops and team building activities designed to further strengthen and motivate the team during this Year of 
Expansion.
