Sunshine Coast Destination Ltd (SCDL) today launched new tourism trails; a Food trail and Arts/Culture trail at Eumundi markets.

The trails series includes a nature, attractions and coastal fun trail with Food and Arts/Culture part of the next instalment to go live.

The trails are designed to showcase the array of exciting experiences visitors can enjoy on the Sunshine Coast.

Veronica Rainbird, Marketing and Brand Director of SCDL said, "Promoted via YouTube, a microsite and digital media channels, we are proud to star local talent and working with Council's SmartArts program, we have featured a local artist with a different song for each trail.

"The trails will attract visitors to the region with another reason to visit and increase their length of stay. People can choose to do one experience on the trail or all and the trail is linked online to accommodation and activity deals."

Martin Duncan, Chef and Proprietor of Freestyle Escape said "I'm excited about the food events we have on the Sunshine Coast. Noosa International Food and Wine Festival, the Real Food Festival and the Ginger Flower and Food Festival are all excellent catalysts to showcase our amazing producers and this food trail is another addition to promote our food."
Juanita Bloomfield (Tourism Noosa), Michael Donnelly (SCDL), Louise Terry (Tourism Noosa)
Tony Gill, Owner of Art on Cairncross Gallery said, "The trails including Arts and Culture is about providing visitors with more activity and reason to stay longer on the Sunshine Coast. It is about more than a beach holiday or a sports event. SCDL has managed to bring back a pride in our region and culture with these trails for visitors.
