Upper Hunter Regional Show 2013 Attracts Large Crowds.

Thousands of people flocked to the enjoy all the fun at the first day of the two day annual Upper Hunter Show today at the Muswellbrook Showgrounds. An action packed program kept people of all ages entertained throughout the day and evening, which concluded with a display of amazing fireworks.

 

Amusement rides, rarely seen in Muswellbrook, provided the children, youth and adults with lots of options to chose from. The large Ferris Wheel looked spectacular lit up at night and provided riders with wonderful views of the showgrounds. I have included some photos of these rides. 

 

 The second day, tomorrow the 16 March, will again be an action packed day and night with the evening hosting the rodeo, demolition derby, monster trucks and the Crack Up Sisters.

Don't forget to see the animals , cakes, craftwork, photography etc on display in the pavilions.

The "Bursting with Energy" display helps tell the story of the mining and power generation industries in the Upper Hunter region of NSW Australia.
