Highlights for the year for groups include: the opening of The Shard in February, (the highest viewing point in Western Europe -nearly twice as high as any other view in the city), ZSL London Zoo which will be welcoming its new flagship exhibit Tiger Territory in April and the re-opening of The Olympic Park as the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in July just ahead of London’s newest cycling festival – RideLondon on 3 and 4 August.
London & Partners, the mayor’s official promotional organisation for London, will be taking a stand (L01) along with many of the capital’s industry partners including: Ambassador Theatre Group, BBC Tours, City of London Corporation, Encore, Houses of Parliament, Orient Express Royal Academy of Arts, Royal Air Force Museum, Royal Albert Hall Tours, Royal Opera House, Shakespeare's Globe, Tate, The Household Cavalry Museum, The Wallace Collection, Tower Bridge Exhibition, Visit Greenwich, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, Wembley Stadium Tours, Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum & Tour and WWT London Wetland Centre.
Visitors who pre-register and attend Excursions 2013 will be entered into the free prize draw to win some fantastic prizes including an afternoon tea for four adults and entry to the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and Kew Palace, a guided tour for four, including lunch, at the Royal Air Force Museum, London and tickets for two for Warner Bros. Studio Tour London- The Making of Harry Potter.
