The 2012 World Airport Awards have recently been announced.

the leading airports and airport hotels globally. Winners across 15 regions
were chosen based on the annual airport passenger satisfaction survey
undertaken by SKYTRAX, an established airline and airport review site for over
681 airlines and 725 airports.
The Best Airport Hotel Awards recognises the finest airport
hotels across the globe. This year, over 927,000 airport hotel guests from 87
different countries participated in the survey that included a total of 375
airport hotels. Hotel guests nominated their favourite airport hotel based on
16 key performance indicators of their experiences, the criteria including
comfort and cleanliness of rooms, standard of food and beverage outlets and
hotel staff service quality. Another important item was the location and ease
of transfer between the terminal and hotel.
