A Food and Art Focus for Great Value Winter Holidays on the Legendary Pacific Coast

Food and Art experiences are the focus of a new Legendary Pacific Coast winter campaign offering great value holiday discounts at restaurants, cafes, galleries, sustainable farms, art classes, studios, accommodation and activities along Australia's top tourist drive.

Travellers can enjoy more than 250 special offers at restaurants, cafes, clubs, galleries, accommodation and activities by visiting http://legendarydeals.com.au/ to register and download coupons redeemable with the participating businesses. The campaign runs until July 31.

“The Legendary Pacific Coast is more than beautiful beaches. The coast and hinterland are home to a bevy of local artisans and this campaign highlights the best of our region and entices visitors with some excellent offers,” said North Coast Destination Network Executive Officer, Ms Belinda Novicky.

“Winter is the perfect opportunity to explore The Legendary Pacific Coast's foodie and creative hotspots assisted with our offers and links to Arts Mid North Coast and Arts Northern Rivers for great insights into the colour, character and talent along the drive.”

Attractions and activities getting into the Food and Art spirit include Artisans on the Hill and Bent on Food Cookery School in Wingham, Ricardoes Tomatoes and Strawberries and the award winning, The Corner Restaurant in Port Macquarie.

Further north, The Clarence Valley has discounts available at galleries, Lismore is offering packaged deals around their upcoming annual arts events, and Byron Shire has several studios offering art classes where visitors can unleash their creative spirit.

The campaign is a major tourism initiative funded by The North Coast Destination Network with its member destinations (Local Government Tourism units), the tourism industry and proudly supported by the NSW Government's tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW, through the Regional Visitor Economy Fund.
