Hung Kings Temple relic site welcomes 2.5 million pilgrims

Hung Kings Temple Festival
More than 2.5 million people have flocked to the northern province of Phu Tho to join diverse activities in the framework of the Hung Kings Temple Festival up to April 23 (the eighth of Lunar March), according to the festival’s organizing board.

Three days after the opening ceremony on April 21, more people have come to the Hung Kings Temple relic site to offer incenses, enjoy art performances and take part in cultural events.

The organizing board says security and traffic order are maintained over large crowds gathering at the site.

Director of the Management Board of the relic site Nguyen Duy Anh says the Board has actively worked with relevant agencies to ensure safety and convenience for visitors.

The festival is being held from April 21 to 25 (from the sixth to the tenth of Lunar March) by the Phu Tho provincial People’s Committee in coordination with Thai Nguyen, Binh Duong, Quang Nam and Kien Giang provinces. A wide range of activities are held to educate the patriotic tradition and pay tribute to founders of the nation.
