Rides Galore at the 2018 Sydney Royal Easter Show

Extreme rides
There are numerous amusement rides to go on at this years Sydney Royal Easter Show.

Some are rather sedate, but others are more extreme in the way they fling you around.

In the centre of the Showgrounds are the ever popular Ferris Wheel and Carousel.

On one side of the Showgrounds is the Children's Carnival area, with many rides more suited to young children. On the other side is a larger area of thrill rides more suited to teenagers and adults.

Remember that you do not pay cash to go on each individual. Instead, you purchase tokens, for about a dollar each, at ticket booths, and hand in some of these for each ride you go on. The more extreme the ride, the more tokens you need to hand over.

The good old dodgem cars are there again this year, as is the haunted house, merry go round, swing chairs, giant slipper dip, and canoe river ride.

For families, it may be best to predetermine how many rides the children are allowed to go on before they arrive at the show. This will save the embarrassment of the children wanting to go all the rides at the show.

The main thing to remember is to have fun on these amusement rides, as some of them are only to be found each year at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
