On the heels of its recent acquisition of DreamWorks Animation, Universal Studios Hollywood will open the technologically-advanced attraction, Kung Fu Panda: The Emperor’s Quest on Friday, June 15th. Inspired by the global blockbuster franchise, the multi-sensory attraction will take guests on a thrilling journey that combines captivating storytelling with state-of-the-art projection mapping and LED lighting effects, for a highly immersive and engaging experience. Visually dynamic scenic designs with precise detailing, transform the theatre and enhance the story, empowering guests to feel more like participants than spectators.

This summer, we’re taking you to another level of awesomeness at DreamWorks Theatre, featuring Kung Fu Panda- The Emperor’s Quest! You’ll be immersed in the new multi-sensory attraction featuring the legendary DreamWorks franchise. Join Master Po on an unstoppable adventure of awesomeness destined to stimulate your senses, exercise your wit and unlock the hero within through the power of Kung Fu.

Animation Studio Store featuring Hello Kitty, Despicable Me and other animated favorites

The arrival of the Art Deco-inspired Animation Studio store features a collection of merchandise that includes Hello Kitty, The Minions and other characters from Illumination Entertainment films, as well as Dr. Seuss, Scooby-Doo, Curious George, SpongeBob SquarePants and “The Simpsons.” Always ready for her close-up, the global pop icon Hello Kitty, takes center stage with a selection of park-exclusive merchandise, including accessories, apparel, stationery, souvenirs, and collectibles, as well as an array of delectable treats, prepared daily. Hello Kitty and her friends are also incorporated into classic Universal titles such as “Jaws,” “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial,” “Back to the Future” and more. Hello Kitty also makes special appearances to meet and greet fans outside the Animation Studio Store.
