Two 133,500-ton Vista-class ships are currently scheduled for delivery – Carnival Horizon in 2018 and Carnival Panorama in 2019.
Additionally, two new 180,000-ton ships are scheduled to enter service in 2020 and 2022. The cruise line currently has two ships deployed in Australia, Carnival Spirit, and sister ship Carnival Legend which just last week repositioned to Melbourne, her new home port, to embark on her first of 16 cruises across the 2018/2019 season.
Carnival Splendor will join the Australian Carnival fleet in December 2019 and become the newest and largest ship, home ported year-round in Australia.
