NEW ABORIGINAL TOURISM EXPERIENCES IN NSW

Six exciting new Aboriginal-owned and operated tourism businesses have opened their doors in NSW.

On the Coffs Coast, visitors can learn about the Saltwater people of the Gumbaynggirr Nation as they paddle board through a pristine marine park, while in Wagga Wagga the ‘Tastes of Wiradjuri Land’ experience led by Bundyi Cultural Tours offers participants the chance to learn about bush tucker.

In Sydney, Kadoo Tours is hosting nature walks at Watsons Bay and La Perouse, and in Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park, Guringai Aboriginal Tours is offering guided walks of the park’s sacred sites.

At Scotts Head on the Mid North Coast, visitors can learn about traditional fish traps and hunting on the Gurruuja Juun (Whale Tail) Tour, and for a real taste of Outback NSW, First Lesson Cultural Tours offers overnight camping trips in the Wiradjuri and Kamilario/Gamilaraay country near Dubbo.
