FAMILY FUN UNDER LIGHTS AT MT BULLER’S NEW ‘TWILIGHT SESSIONS’

Mt Buller has made winter weekends even longer with the announcement of the new ‘Twilight Sessions’ for the 2017 winter season.

On Saturdays and Sundays in July and August Mt Buller will extend winter hours of operation, running the Bourke St lifts and Village Toboggan Park continuously to 8.30pm each evening, all under lights.

As part of the Twilight Session’s program a lively roster of afternoon entertainment including music and films will keep the Mt Buller village buzzing, and in an Aussie first the Mt Buller Ski & Snowboard School will offer Twilight Discover and private lessons, ideal for those new to skiing and boarding.

The fun continues in the Village Toboggan Park into the evening, as families enjoy the extended hours to make snowmen, have a snowball fight and discover the fun of tobogganing.

In addition, reduced resort entry fees after 3pm offer great value, and guests will find it easy to get around the resort with shuttle buses running until 9.30pm. Group Marketing Manager, Mt Buller Mt Stirling Resort Management, Gill Dobson said, “The new Twilight Sessions are ideal for families and beginners. Families can avoid the morning rush by arriving later in the day, and benefit from cheaper resort entry from 3.00pm. The slopes will be quieter making it easier for the littlies, and it is just so much fun skiing under lights.”

“I encourage everyone to make their winter weekends a little longer and spend some quality time with family and friends. Whether it’s watching a band in the Village Square, learning to ski under the stars, or simply enjoying an evening meal the Twilight Sessions are the ideal way to discover the fun of a snowy family escape”.

Just three hours from Melbourne, Mt Buller is the most accessible major snow resort in Australia with over 300 hectares of skiable terrain, more lifts, more runs and more accommodation options than any other Victorian snow resort.
