Cyclone Debbie and northern NSW storms – BIG4 Holiday Parks status update

Several BIG4 Holiday Parks located within Queensland and NSW were impacted by the recent cyclone and storms, including six in the region where the cyclone made landfall and a number affected by flood conditions as the storm travelled south through northern NSW.

With school holidays and the Easter break upon us, BIG4 has provided status updates of closures on its website, and is encouraging travellers to log on before heading to parks in the affected areas: https://www.big4.com.au/cyclone-debbie-updates.

Unless otherwise stated below, all BIG4 parks in South East Queensland, the wider Rockhampton area, and northern NSW are trading as normal and are open for bookings.

Please note: some parks that are open for business are included below where travellers should be aware of possible road closures and other essential information.

Queensland Status update

From north to south, these affected parks have reported the following status updates as at 6 April 2017:

BIG4 Adventure Whitsundays Resort (Airlie Beach) – Closed until 18 April
