Mekong Tourism Coordinating Office (MTCO) is in Luang Prabang, Laos until March 17 on a mission to sign up host venues for the innovative afternoon program of Mekong Tourism Forum 2017, “Prosper with Purpose”.

Through meetings arranged by Nouy Vongmanichanh, Deputy Head of the Tourism Marketing Division at Luang Prabang Provincial Information, Culture and Tourism Department, MTCO and Tourism Luang Prabang will sign MoUs with 16 venues in and around Luang Prabang. MTCO is represented in Luang Prabang by MTCO’s content & communications consultant David Gillbanks.

The venues will host between 20 and 50 MTF 2017 delegates for 90-minute interactive and topical sessions on June 7 & 8. The afternoon “breakthrough” sessions will give delegates an opportunity to see some of the UNESCO World Heritage town of Luang Prabang while exploring topics of relevance to travel & tourism in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS).

Every delegate has the opportunity to choose two thematic tracks of two sessions each (one track for each afternoon (June 7 & 8)). Capacity for each track is strictly limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Register now!

As at March 12, Kiridara Hotel Luang Prabang and Pah Tad Ke Botanical Garden had signed up as breakthrough session venues.
