Swissôtel Sydney Introduces 'Lunch with Benefits'

Set within the luxury five-star hotel Swissôtel Sydney, in the heart of the city's business and cultural centre, Crossroads Bar is delighted to announce the launch of 'Lunch with Benefits'. Created for professionals who, while they are short on time, want to indulge in a healthy and delicious meal, 'Lunch with Benefits' is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a quick power lunch with work colleagues and associates that is sure to impress all.

Offered on weekdays from 12-3pm, the new 'Lunch with Benefits' at Swissôtel Sydney is a healthy lunch concept served in less than 45 minutes for the modern businessperson who wants to combine healthy eating with making a great impression in a suitably chic and professional atmosphere.

Part of Swissôtel's commitment to Vitality as both a philosophy and a programme that focuses on wellbeing and quality of life, the new lunch concept is an initiative by the hotel's F&B team to ensure guests and diners are able to maintain their health, fitness and, by extension, mental wellbeing even when they're away from home or stretched for time.

Swissôtel Sydney is located opposite the famous State Theatre on Market Street, within walking distance of Sydney's CBD as well as all of the famous landmarks and cultural attractions of the city. And Crossroads Bar – Swissôtel's smart and stylish take on the classic hotel lobby bar – is the ideal place to talk over business ideas while enjoying a timely and healthy lunch with impeccable service. Here, modern design meets classic style in an open-plan dining area, complemented by intimate dining pods.

'Lunch with Benefits' features a choice of three healthy and tempting dishes that change each week. The dishes use only the finest sustainable and seasonal produce sourced by the hotel's Executive Chef Joshua Askew.

To start the meal, diners are offered a revitalising detox juice shot, such as spirulina, wheatgrass, beetroot or acai. A concentrated detox juice shot is a great way to keep the brain sharp and the body in the best shape possible for a full working day.

The choices on offer include menu items such as the Vitality Bowl; a choice of fresh fish, chicken or beef served with a mix of salad vegetables and either brown rice, noodles, quinoa or beans. There is also the Super Salad served with the choice of fresh fish, chicken or beef. In addition, an open sandwich or wrap option served with a healthy side salad of the freshest vegetables.

Highlights Executive Chef Joshua Askew, "I have created dishes that can be enjoyed quickly while delivering the best nutrition these amazing superfoods have to offer. Something as simple and delicious as quinoa has been eaten for its health benefits for many years. It is rich in oxygen-carrying iron and excellent for travellers in relieving altitude sickness. The proteins, such as low-GI beans, fish, chicken and beef, will keep the stomach satisfied for longer, and keep the brain alert with essential amino acids. All of the ingredients in the new concept have been carefully considered to deliver a complete, inviting and nutrient-filled lunch experience."

A refreshing juice is served to patrons with the lunch, while a soft drink, glass of wine or low-carb beer is also available upon request. For a further $5, diners can enjoy the choice of a fresh juice, such as orange, apple, carrot, celery, kale and cucumber, or perhaps a cold-pressed juice or even kombucha fermented tea – proven to have wonderful probiotic health benefits with its high levels of good bacteria.

There is no better place in the city to entertain clients or meet with colleagues to brainstorm ideas while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Priced at $25 per person, 'Lunch with Benefits' at Swissôtel Sydney is perfect for business professionals and leisure travellers alike and is available from 21 November 2016.
