SOUTH COAST ON SHOW THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA ACTIVATION

Tathra, Sapphire Coast
Some of Australia’s top Instagram influencers are promoting the beauty of the South Coast through a range of inspiring images to more than 700,000 followers.

The activity, secured by the State’s tourism and major events agency Destination NSW, is part of the South Coast’s ‘Unspoilt’ campaign which has been a major driver of tourism growth to the region since its inception in 2012.

Member for South Coast Shelley Hancock said, “I am delighted that the beautiful South Coast is being showcased through three of Australia’s leading digital influencers who collectively have an audience of over 733,000 followers.”

The Instagram influencers taking part in the campaign are Lauren Bath, Jewels Lynch and Sarah Hatton.

“Their images will highlight Shellharbour, Kiama, Shoalhaven, Eurobodalla and the Sapphire Coast, inviting audiences to take a journey through these spectacular regions of NSW, cementing our position as one of Australia’s most appealing tourism destinations,” Ms Hancock said.

NSW Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events Stuart Ayres said, “We are putting our State at the top of every traveller’s must-do lists and securing activities such as this special Instameet, which provides a unique opportunity to reach a mass audience and showcase our incredible destinations.”

Locals are encouraged to join the influencers in Ulladulla this evening from 6:30pm at Narrawallee Inlet, Mollymook for a public Instameet, before the initiative wraps up on Monday, 7 November.
