Qingdao Ranks #1 in China for Tourist Satisfaction

Qingdao, the city on China’s east coast that is known as the home of Tsingtao Beer and for its beautiful beaches and mountains, recently ranked as the top city in China for tourist satisfaction.

Surrounded by the sea on three sides, this waterside city scored high marks from tourists and other quality-control metrics in a recent study by the China Tourism Academy. 

The Hilton Qingdao Golden Beach hotel recently opened on Qingdao’s Golden Beach, overlooking the Laoshan Mountains, and the 2014 International Horticultural Expo just wrapped up at the end of October.
