Good Food Month

It's Australia’s largest food festival! Food-lovers in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra celebrate Australia’s extraordinary culinary scene, with everything from fine-dining dinners to free, family-friendly outdoor festivals.

Stand by for the launch of The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Month and The Canberra Times Good Food Month presented by Citi, on October 1.

The Age Good Food Month presented by Citi gets underway on November 1. The full program will be launched on September 30 in The Age.

Special guests for Good Food Month include Australia's David Thompson, whose restaurant nahm has been voted Number 1 in Asia. Check out the extraordinary Asia Town line-up as David returns to Sydney for one amazing collaborative street-food inspired afternoon.

Stand by also to meet Yotam Ottolenghi - chef, author, restaurateur and TV star, in Australia from October 28 - November 2. His visit coincides with the launch of Plenty More (published in September by Ebury Press, RRP $49.99).

And yes, the legendary Alice Waters will also be in Australia in November and will speak in both Sydney and Melbourne. More details very shortly!

We are very excited.

The surest way to get the latest news on all events and other exciting international guests is to sign up to our e-newsletter, Foodie News. You could also win a trip for two to London to dine at Yotam Ottolenghi's Nopi restaurant.

The brand-new Brisbane Times Good Food Month presented by Citi will return in July 2015.

Highlights of Good Food Month 2013 can be seen here: The Night Noodle Markets, The Great Australian Dinner and The Sydney Morning Herald Growers' Market, with video, too.
