25th Annual Bylong Mouse Races

Join in the cheering crowds as the barriers are raised and the mice race towards the finish line at the 25th Annual Bylong Mouse Races, The small quite village of Bylong in NSW Australia has a huge increase in population for the day as people travel from all over Australia to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the largest mouse racing event in the world.

Admission is only $5 for adults and children under 12 are free. Since its inception all proceeds from the day (more than $450,000 so far) have been given to local charities and community groups,

Gates open at 10 am on Saturday 23 March, with the first race of the 10 heats at 11am. The winner of each of the races throughput the day will run in the major race of the day at 5pm - The Bylong Cup.

Apart from the mouse races, other activities on the day include a Calcutta, mechanical bull rides and helicopter rides. A feature at all famous race meetings around the world are the Fashions on the Field. At the Bylong Mouse Races there will be categories for women, men children, groups, and funniest.  A bar and BBQ will be operating throughout the day.

There will be plenty on offer for the children throughout the day, including a Kid's Tent, body and face art, lucky dip, show bags, Pooka the Clown Magic Sow and a jumping castle.
