See Movies on the Largest IMAX Screen in the World

The summer school holiday action continues on the world's biggest screen as the mercury rises in Sydney. Cool off and dip into one of our spectacular film experiences, whether it's a classic IMAX documentary or Hollywood feature.

The biggest ticket this summer is The Hobbit in IMAX 3D, simply spectacular and jaw-droppingly impressive on our giant silver canvas. When you want to be immersed in the action, to feel part of the image - not simply an observer - then IMAX is the ultimate cinema experience.

Also showing is Skyfall (limited sessions only) as well as four great documentaries including Under the Sea 3D which has returned due to popular demand. Narrated by Jim Carrey and featuring Australian locations including the Great Barrier Reef and Southern Australia, we know this is one film every audience member will love.

Have you seen the giant rubber duck floating in Cockle Bay yet? Be quick. It's here in front of IMAX only until 23 January. It's a fitting addition to the precinct which prides itself on big events, big movies and big fun!

Don't forget to plan ahead for your Australia Day celebrations. Darling Harbour is hosting a festive day with an incredible line up of world music, children’s entertainment and the official Australia Day Spectacular.

Movies currently being screened include
  • -       Under the Sea 3D (G)
  • -       To The Arctic 3D (G)
  • -       Skyfall (G)
  • -       The Last Reef 3D (G)
