Official Logo for AdAsia 2013 Selected

Designed by Phan Thi Dieu My, the logo won the first prize in the design contest for the Adasia 2013, which was launched by the Vietnam Advertising Association (VAA) in May.

The new logo features a crane, symbol of noble quality, long life and happiness. The image of the crane throwing back its head to trim its wings reflects the congress’s theme of re-structuring communication and advertisement in a simple, modern and artistic style.

A ceremony to launch the official logo for AdAsia 2013 and present awards to five winners of the design contest will be held on August 25 at Grand Plaza Hotel.

The AdAsia 2013, scheduled for November 5-9 in Hanoi, will contribute to introducing the image of Vietnam to international friends and provide a good opportunity for Vietnam to promote trade, tourism and investment with countries in Asia and the world.

The AdAsia, which has been held biennially since 1958 by the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations (AFAA), aims to promote the communication and advertising industry in the region.
