Sea World will be stepping back in time more than 65 million years with the launch of an interactive dinosaur attraction that will take visitors on a journey into the prehistoric world.

Launching in mid June, Dinosaur Island will include an indoor jungle display, fossil centre with outdoor forest featuring life-size dinosaurs, skeleton displays and fossil replicas from the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.

Inaugural 'delectable Brisbane' festival set to delight foodies

This winter Brisbane will be turning up the culinary heat with the riverside city's new food festival - delectable - from 16-29 July.

Queensland's finest producers, growers, chefs, gardeners, entertainers and musicians will come together to launch the 14-day event this July.

The festival program kicks off with the seventh national delicious. magazine Produce Awards, then heats up with an array of public food and music events, indoor and outdoor installations as well as expert talks and presentations across the Brisbane CBD and South Bank.

New guided jet ski tour in the Whitsundays

Whitsunday Jetski Tours has revved up an innovative new adventure tour that shows off a different side of the Whitsundays.

Offering the first and only guided jet ski tours from Airlie Beach to the Whitsunday Islands, guests can enjoy riding a Sea-Doo jet ski into the World Heritage listed Whitsunday Island Marine Park. A soft adventure option around Pioneer Bay is also available.

Sirromet Wines Food and Wine Group Safaris



Sirromet Wines Executive and Celebrity Chef Andrew Mirosch has teamed up with Chief Sirromet Winemaker Adam Chapman to host personalised 'Food and Wine Group Safaris'.

There's no 'big five' in sight on this Queensland safari, however it is a gustatory afternoon adventure spent enjoying wild fermented wines partnered with amazing food matches. The safaris take place at Sirromet's Mount Cotton headquarters over a leisurely four to five hours.

Each course is prepared in front of guests and matched with individual wines from Sirromet's Le Sauvage (the wild) wine range. Guests of the safaris also receive six take-home bottles to enjoy.
