Longitude 131°

Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia is delighted that Longitude 131°, the iconic luxury property on the border of the World Heritage listed Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, features in the latest phase of Tourism Australia's There's nothing like Australia global campaign and new broadcast ad launched.

At the heart of the latest phase of the campaign is a new short film featuring examples of the country's unique and most distinctive experiences, including Longitude 131°. "We are delighted that Tourism Australia chose to feature the outstanding natural beauty of Uluru (Ayers Rock) and the distinctive experience that is Longitude 131°," said Koos Klein, Voyages Managing Director.

Arguably one of the finest and most exclusive luxury wilderness camps in the world, Longitude 131° offers discerning eco-travellers an experience unlike any other in Australia. Guests are immersed in the beauty of the desert while enjoying 5-star "plus" luxury and private views of the sun rising and setting over Uluru.

Tourism Australia Managing Director, Andrew McEvoy, said the latest iteration of the campaign highlights examples of Australia's very best tourism attractions, experiences and productions that showcase why there is nothing quite like Australia. "This new campaign creative, particularly featuring stunning locations such as Longitude 131°, clearly demonstrates Australia's distinctive and high quality tourism products and experiences that are amongst the world's finest.  Promoting your best attributes is a strong and proven marketing principle. By leading with Australia's best we believe this campaign will create a positive halo effect for Australian tourism more broadly," Mr McEvoy said.

"People all over the world are drawn to Uluru as an iconic Australian destination and come to enjoy the many experiences on offer, including the magic of dining under the desert sky," said Mr Klein. "Guests are able to participate in a range of Indigenous guest experiences and it is this cultural engagement that is often a highlight of their stay."
